Njörður Sigurjónsson Ph.D. is Professor of Cultural Management, at Bifröst University in Iceland. His main research interests are cultural management, culture of management, cultural policy, sustainability, sound culture, music and organizational aesthetics.
Njörður has taught numerous courses on strategic management, cultural management, organization studies and cultural theory, and he has given lectures and seminars in Finland, Czech Republic, Poland, UK and the USA.
Before his life academia, Njörður worked as a managing director of the Icelandic Literature Fund, marketing director for the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra, and as stage manager and the back end of a camel at the Icelandic Opera.
